Clinic Director, Biopharmaceuticals, Greensboro, NC

We are seeking a Clinic Director for our Biopharmaceutical Client in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with Clinical Research experience, preferably in a phase I facility. Hold a current RN License. Certification in Clinical Research is preferred. Relevant supervisory experience . Current ACLS certification.  Minimum 3-4 years experience as a Clinical Research Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic in a research setting Certification and or training in Good Clinical Practices Working knowledge of GCP, ICH, and FDA regulations.  

Responsibilities:
 
  • Management and supervision of all clinic staff including nurses, paramedics, clinic attendants phlebotomist and laboratory technicians during all relevant clinical and non-clinical functions.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of staff to accommodate study needs and timelines to ensure effective utilization of study resources.
  • Responsible for long-term planning, budget management, goals, outcomes, decision-making and other higher-level management functions as well as insuring a productive and efficient clinic.
  • Responsible for assisting with quality review, performance management, customer service, and staffing management.
  • Responsible for feasibility assessment and procedure development based on project requirements.
  • Supports other functions as necessary.
  • Monitors personnel time, striving to keep overtime at a minimum.
  • Prepares payroll information and forwards to Human Resources when necessary.
  • Maintains employee attendance and vacation/sick time.
  • Oversees the operation of the clinic, facilitating the creation and maintenance of a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for subjects, visitors, and staff.
  • Manages the purchasing of supplies and evaluates the need for additional equipment and supplies.
  • Reviews all invoices and billing statements, checking for accuracy, before forwarding them to Accounts Payable.
  • Monitor crash cart and supplies and medication expiry as needed. 
  • Conducts monthly clinic staff meetings to inform the staff of new information and directives that will be implemented.
  • Meets with the other directors on a regular basis to discuss clinical issues.
  • Assists lab staff when necessary.
  • Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth.
  • Strives to maintain a positive work environment for staff.
  • Evaluates personnel annually through performance reviews and objectives setting as well as address non compliance and recommend corrective measures as required.
  • Provide training orientation and mentoring as needed to ensure that employees improve their skills and work according to Study Protocol, Standard Operating Procedures and Good Clinical Practices in the conduct of clinical. 
  • Ensures subjects are efficiently monitored and safety interventions are implemented as required
  • Supervises study staff while performing study tasks and documentation to ensure compliance to GDP, GCP applicable regulatory guidelines and DecisionLine policies
  • Addresses and documents subject non compliance events and promotes resolution
  • Participates with the writing and revision of clinical Standard Operating Procedures
  • Accommodates flexible scheduling (available days, nights, weekends)
  • Participates with study conduct and study related tasks as required.
  • Performs any non-study related tasks as required or any additional duties as professional qualifications and training permits

    Requirements 
    • A Registered Nurse with Clinical Research experience, preferably in a phase I facility.
    • Current RN License.
    • Certification in Clinical Research is preferred.
