Summary

We are seeking a strategic and driven Vice President of Business Development to lead our client’s next phase of commercial growth. This executive-level role begins as a senior individual contributor, responsible for selling a proven AI-powered software and services platform to commercial-stage pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations. As traction increases, you will recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team to scale revenue and client impact.

You will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to expand market reach and build scalable systems that support long-term growth driving adoption of a platform already delivering significant value to clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring a high-performing business development team.
  • Established network of decision-makers in pharma, particularly across commercial IT, business intelligence, sales operations, data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving analytics platforms or commercial services to pharmaceutical companies.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, field force operations, and CRM/data ecosystems.
  • Skilled at managing enterprise sales cycles involving IT, legal, compliance, procurement, and business stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with minimal structure.
